What is it about?

A unique learning and life experience

11 to 12 months of work (depending on location)

Qualified support through one orientation, preparation, intermediate and evaluation seminar in each case

The engagement with development policy issues

Payment of seminar, travel and vaccination costs, pro rata also visa costs

Free board and lodging

Payment of pocket money and insurance cover during the stay abroad
Which fields of activity are available?

Educational work with children and adolescents or young adults, especially in the areas of crafts, languages, IT and sports.

Projects of sustainable rural tourism and organic farming

Gender justice

Environmental and nature conservation projects

Democracy promotion and human rights work

Public relations
Which application documents do we need?
For the application we need the following documents:

Tabular curriculum vitae in English and Spanish

Letter of motivation* in English and Spanish
-
A simple copy of the last certificate and evidence of the listed commitment (if available)
*Your letter of motivation should comprise a maximum of two pages and include the points listed here:
- Your motivation for the volunteer service in development policy
- Your language skills
- Your previous social commitment
- Your hobbies
- Your desired fields of activity
- Are you currently still in training or studying or already working? Please give a brief description of your activities or your main areas of work.
